Coach speaks its answers

The AI coach reads its explanations aloud (you can turn it off per game).

Voice moves

Listening mode

Fast mode needs Google Chrome.

Confirm voice moves

Ask “Did you mean…?” before playing.

Announce Stockfish's moves

Say Stockfish's reply out loud.

Lessons

Voice

Who reads the lesson out loud. Captions are always on.

Clock

A countdown for finding a move. Running out of time never fails a position.

Quiet mode

No moving lead-in and no voice, and a shorter intro. Same tries, hints and scoring.

My habits

Based on your last

How many recent games your habits are worked out from.

Count uploaded and reviewed games

Rated games you play here always count; casual games never do (hints and takebacks would flatter you). Games you upload, link or record count only if you turn this on, or add them one by one from the review page.

Daily streak

Show my streak

Counts the days you practise: a challenge, a practice position, a puzzle or a lesson (playing games doesn't count). Every 7 days in a row earns a freeze that covers one missed day. It is still counted when hidden.

Stockfish

Deep thinking

Stockfish thinks about three times as long on every move and uses more memory: a stronger, steadier opponent that replies a little slower. On a clock it never spends more than a twentieth of its remaining time, and it only matters from about 1320 up (weaker levels are weakened on purpose).
